I think “danielle” is my fave #handmade doll made by those affected by sexual violence in aid of support services in #Birmingham. The dolls are on sale for 3 more days at www.shopforchange.info/pop-up You can also donate at www.rsvporg.co.uk/support.html RSVP have seen an increased demand for counselling this year and badly need more funds to help support these survivors…. many thanks to those moved to donate! X

These beautiful hand-made dolls are produced by survivors of rape and sexual violence through the Arts With Hearts program. Arts with Hearts is a Social Enterprise that raises money for RSVP (Rape and Sexual Violence Project), RSVP have seen an increased demand for counselling this year and are badly in need of more counsellors. Making a purchase from the Nana Gina Doll collection would be a great help in the push towards achieving this goal.     The Dolls are available online at www.shopforchange.info/popup - but don’t leave it too long, the sale only lasts till the end of 6th June! folksyblog: The Folksy Summer School is coming! Over one weekend in August we’ll be sharing the best advice from some of the most inspirational and experienced people in the UK on how designers, makers and crafters can be the best at what they do. It’s all going to happen in a beautiful wood on the outskirts of Sheffield on the 10th & 11th August. We’re VERY excited.  Talks will cover topics like growing your craft business, pricing your products, social media, marketing, branding, creating a collection and selling online. You will be able to access workshops in product photography, writing a press release, improving your sewing skills, screen printing and more.  And when the bell rings for recess there will be locally produced ice cream and cups of Yorkshire tea all round!  There’s a whole tonne more to be announced with ticket sales on Monday 29th April so make a note and set your alarms!

Little newspaper yarn giraffe commissioned in memory of a little baby named Connor. What a privilege to be asked to do this. It’s being posted today and I hope the buyer likes it….
