Bespoke anniversary gift - newspaper yarn BEANO 1942! on Flickr.

Paper yarn gift made from 1972 Beano for a 40th wedding anniversary. The background includes flowers from the bride’s bouquet. The word means “Forty” in Gaelic.

Unweaving the rainbow - from a newspaper....

This little newspaper yarn cloud was made from handspun newspaper and has a vintage dictionary centre. The colours of the rainbow were all found in newspaper (which we often think of as black and white).
